Recipe : Bardshar Chutney : OprahPloughmanSandwich

Oprah's Ploughman's Sandwich

Many thanks to Heidi Johannsen Stewart of Oprah’s O Magazine for this wonderful recipe using SchoolHouse Kitchen® Bardshar Chutney.

- ½ stalk celery, strings removed, thinly sliced
- ¼ sweet onion, thinly sliced
- ½ teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1-2 teaspoons mayonnaise
- 1 slice raisin walnut bread
- 2 leaves bibb lettuce
- 2 slices turkey (Thanksgiving leftovers are perfect)
- 2-3 teaspoons SchoolHouse Kitchen® Bardshar Chutney
- 2 slices Stilton cheese
- Salt and pepper

Place celery, onion, lemon juice, and oil in a small bowl; toss well.

Spread mayonnaise on the bread.

Top with lettuce, turkey, Bardshar Chutney, celery mixture, and cheese. Season with salt and pepper.

Serve with extra Bardshar Chutney on the side.
